Less than 30 minutes from Marrakech, the former capital city of Morocco, Dar Mauresque is found in a near magical setting. A spacious one-level house of recent origin, comprising four, air-conditioned suites, each with its own fireplace and shuttered windows and all enclosed by individual private terraces (double bed, king size and queen size). The surroundings are complemented by a bespoke landscaped garden, comprising mature olive trees, a vegetable garden, and orange, lemon and pomegranate trees.

All bedrooms are sensitively designed around a traditional courtyard with fountain. To the stylish interior, leading onto a lovely shaded terrace, the furnishings have been created to reflect significant Moroccan design influences to spectacular effect.

The roof-top terrace provides an unrivalled, all-round perspective of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas mountain range, and form the ideal backdrop for dispensing drinks. You will also find a separate large dining room with AC and chimney. Dar Mauresque offers a 14 x 5m outdoor swimming pool (heated on request) with shaded seating space and fully equipped pool house.

Permanent members of house staff are available throughout the period of stay, including a resident Moroccan chef who will prepare classic Moroccan and European cuisine. Meals feature fresh produce from the garden, served on elegant linens and china.

Access to the house private grounds is through a main entrance with a gate (private parking) and an outside door. The house overlooks a small and very quiet place where it is possible to park one or more cars. The garden surrounding the villa is planted with many beautiful palm and citrus trees.
The door entrance to the villa gives access to a large living-dining room under a very high moorish dome. The living room is cozy and warm with long sofas and a fireplace. The dining room can accommodate 10 people.
The living room opens onto a very nice courtyard with a covered terrace where you can bask in the shade. You can have lunch in the courtyard under the shade of bougainvilleas. Beyond is the pool with its sun loungers and the pool house.
A charming terrace with an outdoor lounge area is located next to the pool house behind the house. There is a bar area in the pool-house veranda. The pool is heated on request during the winter.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs including a beautiful suite with 2 ensuite bathrooms.

Khadija, Rachida and Rachid have been working at the villa for several years. They will prepare fantastic meals, look after housekeeping and maintenance of the garden and pool.

The large beautifully maintained garden offers lounge areas and lush vegetation with bougainvilleas, palm trees, and orange trees. It surrounds the private pool (heated) and sun loungers, a small paradise where you can relax and enjoy the sun.
The villa also offers a private clay tennis court, with lighting to allow you to play at night. For golf lovers, a pitch and put is also on the property.

The discreet and attentive house staff consists of a butler, a chef, a housekeeper and a gardener. They have independent housing on the property and are available 24h/24 for you.
Meals can be taken in the dining room, on the sun terrace by the pool or on the covered terrace.
